Always be on the alert!

The following is a list of procedures to follow in case of an accident:

Fire

1- Turn off the electrical current to the pump island by activating the emergency button.
2- Avoid any source that could create a spark.
3- Ask customers to get out of their vehicles and move away from the island.
4- Notify the fire department.
5- Do not remove gas pump nozzles from vehicles.
6- If possible, try to put out the fire ONLY if this does not present any risk.
7- Contact us at 1 888 871-4404.

Spill

1- Close the electrical current to the pump island by activating the emergency button.
2- Stop the source of the spill.
3- Try to prevent the product from spilling into sewer pipes. Spread absorbent material over the area of the spill.
4- Contact us at 1 888 871-4404. In Ontario, also contact the TSSA Spill Action Centre at 1 800 268-6060.
